3. Device Permissions

To enable interactive AI features, the app may request access to specific device capabilities. These permissions are only active when initiated by you and can be revoked at any time in your device settings:

• Camera Permission: Used solely to capture images that you choose to upload to the AI model for visual analysis. Images are processed in real-time and are never stored or saved by us.
• Microphone Permission: Used solely to capture your voice when using the speech-to-text prompt feature. The audio is converted to text locally or securely via standard API and is never recorded or stored.
• Storage / Media Access: Used exclusively to let you choose existing images/files to send to the assistant, or to save exported chat transcripts directly to your device.
• Network Access: Used purely to establish a secure connection with the AI model APIs (e.g. Gemini, OpenAI) to generate your chat answers.

4. Data Handling & Security

Since we do not collect any user data, there is no personal data to sell, rent, trade, or share. Any transient data processed during your active session is protected by strict security protocols:

• Encryption in Transit: All communications between the app and the secure AI model API endpoints are encrypted using industry-standard Transport Layer Security (TLS/HTTPS).
• Zero Server-Side Storage: There is no back-end database managed by us where your data or chats are stored. Your interactions remain entirely on your own device.

5. On-Device Storage

All of your application settings, model configurations, and chat histories are stored exclusively on your own mobile device:

• Local Database: We utilize encrypted on-device database storage (Hive) to keep your settings and chat history saved locally on your physical device.
• Full Physical Control: Your data never leaves your device unless you choose to share or export it yourself.

6. Third-Party Services

To generate assistant responses, the app connects directly to reputable, secure third-party AI APIs (such as Google Gemini or OpenAI). When you send a prompt, image, or audio input, it is processed by these models solely to return your answer.

These enterprise AI providers have strict privacy guarantees, ensuring that inputs processed via API keys are secure, not stored permanently, and not utilized for training public models. We recommend referring to their respective developer privacy policies for detailed assurance.

7. User Control & Data Deletion

Because all data remains on your physical device, you have complete control over it at all times:

• Instant Clearing: You can wipe your entire local chat history and reset all app preferences instantly via the Settings menu in the app.
• Automatic Purge: Uninstalling the application from your device completely purges all local data, databases, and configuration settings automatically.

8. Children's Privacy

Since LLM Studio collects absolutely zero personal information or user data from any individual, we do not knowingly or unknowingly collect or process any data from children under the age of 13. The application is completely safe and privacy-friendly for all users.
